Heart
failure is the inability of the heart to pump blood at an adequate volume to
meet the requirements or the ability to do so only at an elevation in the
filling pressure. One way to prevent heart failure is to prevent and control
conditions that cause heart failure. Heart failure is not as same as a heart
attack or cardiac arrest. Treatment for the heart failure depends on the
severity and cause of the disease. Heart failure affected about 40 million
people globally. Heart failure has been known since ancient times.
Symptoms:
- Irregular heartbeat

- Swelling in legs, feet, ankles

Prevention:

- Decreasing sodium, alcohol and sugar intake
