2. Educational qualifications required: Certification in medical coding from AHIMA or AAPC is a must to apply for this position. A bachelor’s degree from any of the recognized Indian Universities is preferred but not a must.

3. Work location: Hebbal Ring Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka

4. Work timings: Indian day shift

5. Prior experience/skillsets required:

• 0-6 months of experience in Medical Coding
• Freshers with anyone Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA can apply
• Good knowledge in ICD-10 CM, CPT, HCPCS, Modifiers and Procedures (major & minor)
• Good communication skills

6. Roles and responsibilities:

• Abstract information from medical record and assign the appropriate ICD 10 CM and CPT codes
• Must be able to determine key components of Evaluation and Management coding (History, exam, and MDM)
• Must be able to determine the level of E&M accurately
• Meet the production and quality targets as per SLA and adhere to TAT
• Able to read, understand, and follow SOPs appropriately
