💡 About the Role:

As an IP-DRG Coder, you'll be responsible for reviewing inpatient documentation and assigning accurate MS-DRG, APR-DRG, and Tricare DRG codes using ICD-10-CM/PCS. The ideal candidate will be analytical, compliant with HIPAA regulations, and confident in working with large volumes of patient records.

 

✅ Key Responsibilities:

·         Assign correct DRG codes based on clinical documentation

·         Use ICD-10-CM and PCS coding systems accurately

·         Ensure coding compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards

·         Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify ambiguous documentation

 

🔍 Candidate Requirements:

·         1–3 years of experience in IP DRG coding

·         Proficiency in MS-DRG, APR-DRG, and Tricare DRG methodologies
