Job Description:

As a Medical Coder, your responsibilities will include:

·         Extracting and verifying patient information from medical records.

·         Liaising with various departments to ensure accurate and complete documentation.

·         Verifying documents for missing or incomplete information.

·         Assigning appropriate codes such as CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, ASA, APC, and DRG.

·         Conducting chart audits to ensure compliance with coding policies and guidelines.

·         Advising and training physicians on proper coding procedures.

Requirements:

·         Certification in Medical Coding is mandatory.

·         A background in Accounting or related fields is preferred.

·         Previous experience in hospital coding is an added advantage.

·         The candidate must be willing to work in Day Shift or Mid Shift.

Education Requirements:

·         Undergraduate Degree in any of the following disciplines: Insurance, Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Microbiology, Commerce, Dentistry, or equivalent vocational courses.

Key Skills:

• Excellent Communication Skills (English)
• Knowledge of CRCC, PCC, and Medical Coding.
