Eligiblity:
• Certified
Professional Coder (CPC) certification or equivalent.
• Minimum
of 3 years of experience in medical coding and billing, preferably in a telehealth or urgent care setting.
• In-depth
knowledge of medical coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS) and coding
guidelines.
• Experience
building and delivering ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS training for clinicians Familiarity
with telehealth regulations and reimbursement policies.
• Proficiency
in using coding software and electronic health records systems.
• Strong
attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes.
• Excellent
organizational and time management skills.
• Effective
communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary
team.
• Ability
to adapt to changing coding and billing regulations and technologies.
What you’ll do
• Accurately
assign appropriate medical codes to telehealth visits based on provided
documentation and guidelines.
• Conduct
audits to ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations, identifying
and resolving any issues.
• Develop
Curai billing and coding policy/procedures and guidelines for clinicians.
• Perform
data quality audits on claims fields before submission claims submission.
• Collaborate
with healthcare providers and administrative staff to optimize the telehealth
workflow, including scheduling, billing, check-in, triage, consent, and
documentation.
• Stay
updated on the latest coding and billing regulations, especially those related
to telehealth services.
• Educate
and train staff on coding and billing practices specific to telehealth.
• Review
online scheduling processes, troubleshoot technology-related instructions, and
integrate electronic health records for efficient documentation.
•Work
closely with insurance companies to ensure proper reimbursement for telehealth
services.
•Maintain
confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling patient
information.
•Assist
leadership in establishing new LOB, including creating, updating, and managing
department policy and procedure.
Salary Pay:
- The compensation range for this role is $25-30/hr based on experience.
