ICD 10 for Ventricular Flutter [ICD 10-I49.02]

Ventricular flutter is an arrhythmia, specifically a tachycardia affecting the ventricles with a rate over 250 – 350 beats per minute. It is characterized on the ECG by a sinusoidal waveform without clear definition of the QRS and T waves. It can occur in infancy, youth or as an adult and as with Ventricular fibrillation rapid initiation of advanced life support is required.
